The landscape behind the coast, in the province of Grosseto, is mainly agricultural land and offers a vastness that is surpassed only by the sea. Etruscan towns like Roselle testify that this land has been inhabited for a very long time. And today - after the success of the emerging wine-growing areas around Bolgheri - it turns out that viticulture in Maremma is getting more and more successful. Olives are - as usual in Tuscany - also very important. Then there is rice, which reaches a very high quality.

 

The coast can be reached in 20-30 minutes from this extraordinarily charming villa, making it ideal for water sports enthusiasts and yacht owners. Four of the most beautiful Tuscan golf courses can be reached within a short time. For runners, cyclists and nature lovers as well as archaeologists and historians, the area is a paradise anyway. The main Tuscan cities are only 1-2 hours away; Grosseto, the nearest city and provincial capital, even in less than 20 minutes. The railway line Siena-Grosseto has a train station in a neighbouring village.

  

The large stone house, which was originally a chapel and then a farmhouse, has been completely renovated by the Swiss owners and offers a beautiful view. In the adjoining house is a guest apartment and generous side rooms and garages. The total living area is about 250 m2; plus more than 100 m2 of usable space. Entrance gate and garage doors are with motor opening, the large swimming pool - 10 x 5 m - is equipped with electronically controlled cleaning device. The wonderfully landscaped garden with pool and various seats invite you to relax.

Sporting activities can - in addition to cycling, golf, running, hiking - be lived out on the almost 300 olive trees on the 2.1 hectares of land. All the necessary equipment and systems right up to the tractor are available for this.
